Accounts Assistant

Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Accounts Assistant will support the Finance  Team with the following responsibilities: 

Processing sales ledger invoices 

Issuing debtor statements and copy invoices/credit notes  

Matching and processing purchase ledger invoices 

Reconciling supplier statements 

Dealing with customer and supplier queries  

Liaising with other departments to resolve queries 

Bank reconciliations, petty cash, and processing expenses 

Archiving, Filing, and uploading documents to Synergy 

Any other ad hoc reports and reconciliations as required 

The successful candidate will have to work with personnel across all areas of CellPath.  Therefore, they must be self-motivated, positive and a team player with excellent  communication skills. In addition, they should be highly organised and have the  following skills/behaviours: be able to work as part of a team, be calm during periods  of high workload, have good attention to detail, possess a good knowledge of  Microsoft Office Suite including Excel. An AAT qualification is desirable. 

The role is based in Newtown. 

Full time: 39 hours per week Monday – Friday.
