Temporary Operators

U79 Mochdre Industrial Estate, Newtown, Powys

We are currently looking to recruit the following temporary roles and have vacancies working various shifts including dayshift and nightshift.

Previous experience within a manufacturing/warehouse environment would be an advantage, but is not essential as full training will be provided.

Production Operators – Temporary roles for an initial period of up to 6 months

The successful candidates will be able to demonstrate they possess:

 Very good attention to detail, taking pride in their work.

 Excellent communication skills.

 The ability to work well within a team and understand the importance of teamwork.

 Able to react quickly to change whilst maintaining a positive attitude.

 Be flexible and enthusiastic - keen to learn new skills

 Self-motivation with a “can do” attitude.

 Understands the importance of Health and Safety in the workplace.

 The ability to identify and suggest process improvements to improve output.

Material Operators – Temporary roles for an initial period of up to 4 months.

The main duties of the roles will involve the receiving, storing, picking, decanting and issuing of stock to the production lines. The successful candidates will be working within a large team of 30+ people, but will also be expected to work at a high level of performance with little supervision, taking responsibility for their own work.

Experience of operating material handling equipment (forklifts, electric and normal pallet tucks) would be preferred but not essential. The most important qualities are accuracy, enthusiasm and the ability to work in a very highly paced environment.

These roles are to cover an upsurge in sales, so we are looking for engaged people who can learn quickly and want to help us make a difference.
