Police station to open its doors to the public

Ever wanted to know what goes on at Newtown Police Station? Next month you'll be able to find out... without being arrested.

Dyfed Powys Police is hosting an open day at the station in Park Lane on 15 August between 11am and 4pm.

Police officers and civilian staff will be demonstrating a range of equipment, vehicles and facilities at the station.

The event will also include activities for children.
