New Montgomery Mayor elected

Montgomery has elected a new Mayor.

Cllr Rob Harper, who will be welcomed to the role at Mayor Making tomorrow (Friday), steps into the role vacated by Cllr Wendy Beaven who stood down at the Annual Meeting. He also adopts the title of Chair of the Montgomery Council.

Residents of Montgomery, Hendomen and Caerhowel are invited to a Mayor Making ceremony on Friday 31st May, and the Civic Parade and Civic Service which follow on Sunday morning 2nd June.
