One of the great Welsh players from the past 30 years is the guest speaker for a charity Sportsman’s Dinner to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Society.
Former Liverpool, Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest striker Dean Saunders has been lined up to speak at the Elephant & Castle, Newtown, on Sunday, June 2, and will be supported by a comedian.
“It will be a fun afternoon raising funds to help our friends suffering from dementia,” said organiser, Vaughan Harding.
Tickets, which include a roast dinner, are available for £39, with tables of 10 available for £390.
