Damage has been caused to Newtown's historic St Mary's Church.
A photograph sent to MyNewtown by a reader who wants to remain anonymous, shows a section of the 13th century church wall damaged with stone from it on the floor.
The reader said the damage was "digusting." The site is where the family tomb of the Pryce-Jones family is and where social reformer Robert Owen is buried.
It is not known how the wall was damaged, but appears it must have been deliberatly targeted.
The church has been targeted by vandals in the past with graffiti and other criminal damage caused.
