Newtown manager Chris Hughes has brought two former players back to Latham Park as the January transfer window opens.
Former Newtown players, Gavin Cadwallader and Gareth Partridge, have returned to Latham Park.
Cadwallader, 28, started his career as a trainee with Shrewsbury Town, making his first appearance in a 2-2 League Two draw at Carlisle United in February 2006.
Released from the Gay Meadow the following January he trained with Bangor City before joining Aberystwyth Town. After two seasons at Park Avenue, Cadwallader signed for Newtown in July 2008.
After two and a half seasons at Latham Park, he signed for Airbus UK Broughton in January 2011 but was released in May 2012 and joined Cefn Druids, where he has added to a career total of 19 goals from 159 (+10) WPL appearances.
Partridge played at right back and as a right sided striker for the Robins under managers Darren Ryan, Andy Cale and Bernie McNally, but left the club to work in America in a coaching role. He returned after a year away and joined Denbigh Town in the Huws Gray Alliance.
Partridge scored five goals from 37 (+28) WPL appearances in his previous spell with the Robins.
Newtown have also promoted youth team players Craig Harris, Tom Kenny and Jordan Bailey to the first team squad.
