Daffs lose again - Kerry go top

03/08/2022 @ 09:33

Llanidloes look like they may be in for a tough time in the The JD Cymru League after suffering their second defeat last night.

Having been beaten 3-2 at home to Porthmadog in the opener the Daffs were looking to improve at Mold but went down 4-0 and now sut bottom of the table as the only side without a point.

But it’s a very different story for Kerry who now top the MMP Central Wales League North after beating Llansantffraid 3-1.

Llansantffraid were being tipped as the side to watch this season under new management but are struggling to adapt and Kerry led early through Charlie Mainwaring. Clayton doubled the lead and after Matthew Williams hit back for the Saints it was left to Clayton to net an injury time third to clinch the win.

Waterloo Rovers had got their MMP Central Wales League North off to a great start but were crushed 6-1 at Forden.

Brothers Jake and Henry O’Donnell each scored twice after Rob Evans had set the scene in the very first minute. Pryce netted the sixth with Luke Evans replying for Rovers.
