Wharton is third new signing

Newtown have added a third new signing ahead of their Europa Conference League trip to the Faero Islands.

Barry Town announced they had sold St Kitts international Theo Wharton to Newtown for an undisclosed fee before The Robins set off for Belfast and a 0-0 draw with Irish champions Linfield yesterday.

The news comes after manager Chris Hughes also confirmed the arrivals of Louis Robles from The New Saints and Matty Jones from Aberystwyth in a bid to get through the early stages of the Conference League when they take on HB Tórshavn of the Faroe Islands.
