Newtown are the only local club back in action, but it wasn’t the start they wanted to the JD Cymru Premier season.

The Robins returned from Flint with a 1-0 defeat after debutante Nathan Craig netted in the 34th minute.

Despite plenty of possession, and the hosts being reduced to 10-men in the 50th minute, Newtown couldn’t find the equaliser and will be back in action at home to Caernarfon Town tomorrow.
