Safety concerns over lighting and paths highlighted

Areas of Newtown lacking safe lighting, uneven footways and other safety concerns have been identified by the town council.

The findings have now been submitted to Powys County Council for consideration.

The work was carried out as part of the town council’s Place Plan, which aims to identify local issues and priorities for improvement.

According to council minutes, the town council is now awaiting a response from the county council.
