A police raid in Newtown has uncovered more than 300 cannabis plants.
The raid on Tuesday by armed police and dog handlers at Clifton Terrace, saw one man arrested on suspicion of production of cannabis.
A Dyfed Powys Police spokesperson said: “Officers have carried out a warrant at Clifton Terrace today as part of Op Scotney.
"One man has been arrested on suspicion of production of cannabis and is currently in custody. The warrant was executed at around 12 noon. Officers estimate in excess of 300 cannabis plants over four storeys.
“Teams including firearms officers, plain clothes officers and dog handlers were involved in the warrant.”
It follows the police revealing earlier this week how more than £12 million worth of drugs had been seized in 30 raids across Mid and West Wales, including Welshpool.
