Estate agents selling a Mid Wales home are finding the famous owner is attracting as much attention as the beautiful property.
Because Peachwood at Abermule is owned by famous illustrator Tony Ross, best known for his work on the best selling Horrid Henry story books.
Mr Ross has also illustrated books for Roald Dahl, Michael Palin and Paula Danziger so it’s littkle wonder the property has been featured in the Sunday Times and on TV’s Escape To The Country.
The property is on sale through McCartneys where Tom Carter said: “I was recently instructed to market a terrific property called Peachwood which has elements dating to the 1700’s combined with a striking modern extension pulling together a wonderful mix of old and new to create a fascinating family home.
“As with many of the properties that we have the pleasure and privilege of marketing, there was more than met the eye when I realised that the owner was just as interesting as his beautiful home.
“Tony Ross is an extremely well renowned illustrator and author with the likes of “The Little Princess” and “Horrid Henry” to his name.
“Given how beautiful Peachwood is and Tony’s work and prominence, we are getting some incredible exposure of the property.”
