New presenter at Radio Hafren

A new presenter is joining Newtown-based Radio Hafren.

Radio Hafren have appointed Stuart Hickman as their new breakfast presenter. Stuart has a wealth of experience behind him, having previously spent 10 years at Beacon, along with spells at Classic Gold, Fosseway, Centre FM, Sunshine and the MNA group (Telford, Wyre, Severn).

Making the announcement, Radio Hafren director Alistair Tyne said “We are delighted to have someone of the calibre of Stuart joining our team. His vast experience can only help the station to grow and to build on the foundations we’ve laid over the last 2 years”

Stuart added “I’m absolutely thrilled to be joining the Radio Hafren team and can’t wait to get started. I’ve already been made to feel at home in the area by the people I’ve met and, of course, my new colleagues”

Stuart starts the new breakfast show on Radio Hafren at 6am on Monday 29th April 2013.
