Tributes to young Newtown businessman

The sudden death of a young Newtown businessman has been greeted with shock in the town.

Aled Woosnam, a director of 23 Social, passed away suddenly recently, but the news has only just been announced by the business.

"It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear friend and director, Aled Woosnam. His vision, leadership, and unwavering dedication were at the heart of our company from the beginning."

The statement said they had made the decision to close the business.

"We ask for privacy and understanding during this time as we navigate this transition."

The holding company of 32 Social had entered administration last month, but the business continued operating.

Social media was full of comments and respect. One business, NMac gym paid it's own tribute to Aled and another man who were members.

The Powys Coroner has been informed.
