Hilltop Honey Founder to Speak at Civic Society Meeting

The Newtown and District Civic Society will host its final meeting of the season next week, featuring a presentation from one of the area's most successful entrepreneurs.

Scott Davies, founder and owner of Hilltop Honey, will be the guest speaker at the event taking place on Tuesday, 13 May at the Crescent Christian Centre on Milford Road, Newtown. The meeting begins at 7.30pm.

Mr Davies will share "The Story of Hilltop Honey", chronicling the remarkable journey of his local business which has grown from humble beginnings to become a nationally recognised brand.

The Newtown based company has established itself as a leading producer of high quality honey products, with its range now stocked in major supermarkets throughout the UK.

Society members can attend the talk free of charge, while non-members are welcome for a £3 entrance fee.

The event marks the end of the Civic Society's programme for the current season. Information about next season's schedule is expected to be announced during the summer.
