Continuing problems with waste and recycling collections has resulted in some residents not having collections for two weeks, town councillors have been told.
Cllr Peter Lewington, who also represents part of Newtown of Powys County Council, told Newtown Town Council's full meeting last night (Monday) that there had been issues at Crescent Gardens and other parts of the town where collections had not been made for two weeks.
Last week Powys County Council said recruitment issues and employees with covid were hampering collections throughout Powys.
Cllr Lewington said they'd managed to get collections undertaken in some parts affected.
