Residents and visitors to Montogmery this Sunday will be able to have items repaired, buy other items to reuse and rehome ones they don't want.

The town is hosting a day of private yard sales and garden giveaways as part of a community-wide event on Sunday, 25 September.
From 11am until 3pm, there will be private yard sales and garden giveaways across the town, with the aim of re-homing items locally and avoiding things going to landfill.
Locations taking part will be on a map on the back of the Town Hall, and as much detail as possible will be posted on the Montgomery Wales facebook page fb.me/montgomerypowys
Anyone wishing to host a stall/table/yard can message the Montgomery Wales page or email news-events@montgomery-wales.uk by Friday to let the organisers know their location and any details of what they'll be passing on.
Browsers are encouraged to look around on foot if they are able to, and to make sure to check out the locations map to catch everything.
Children from Montgomery School Council will be running second hand book stalls on the same day at the Institute and Activity Centre to raise funds for activities.
Montgomery Energy Group’s “Repair Café” will take place at the Activity Centre in Montgomery from 2pm until 5pm.
Volunteer “fixperts” will look to fix your bikes, small mechanical and electrical items, clothing, crockery, toys and furniture; tool sharpening and PAT testing will be available.
MEG’s free bike scheme will be there as well. This is a great community event, with tea, coffee, cake and biscuits available too.
You can contact the repair café via MEG’s facebook page fb.me/MontgomeryEnergyGroup or email to jeremy.brignell-thorp@hotmail.com. Please contact MEG if you would like to help out by being a fixpert or apprentice at future repair cafés, or assist in another role.
