Appeal for help finding missing Obie

An appeal has been put out by the family of a missing schoolboy in Newtown.

Obie Pierce was last seen yesterday (Friday) at 11.30am at Newtown High School but has not been seen by his family since.

His grandmother, Lynette Reid said: "My grandson, went missing from Newtown High School yesterday morning friday 21st. at approx 11.30am.
 
"He's got short dark hair and 5'3" and was last wearing school uniform and a hooded black padded jacket.

"We've not seen or heard from him since yesterday morning and he doesn't have a mobile phone with him. 

"His family and police have been looking for him and asking all his friends but still no news.

"Please get in touch with us if you have seen him or have him staying overnight with your daughter or son.

"He is a vulnerable missing child and we desperately want to know that he's safe."
