Created on 11/01/2022 @ 06:44
Police are investigating a spate of burglaries that occurred in the area over the weekend in what is believed to have been thieves travelling into the area.

Dyfed Powys Police said it was investigating burglaries at Carno and Cemmaes Road, as well as Knighton. Burglaries also occurred over the border in Shropshire at Lydbury North and Clunton.

"Officers are working with colleagues in North Wales and West Mercia Police to investigate," said a police spokesperson.

"Anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage of an unfamiliar white 4x4 or SUV (sports utility vehicle) in these areas between 3pm and 7pm yesterday (Saturday) is being asked to get in touch, as it could help us with our investigation.

"In addition, if you saw or experienced anything suspicious that you think might be connected to our enquiries, please contact us."
