A shop specialising in the sale of goods that were heading to the rubbish tip has opened in Newtown.
The Waste Not Shop has opened in Broad Street specialising in saving items that would have gone to landfill even if they were working or could be recycled.
Circular Economy Mid Wales runs the shop after receiving funding from the Welsh Government with help from the town council.
A team can repair items and ensure they are safe before they are sold through the shop.
Many items are collected from the local recycling centres.
The shop is situated in the former William Hill betting shop next to HSBC bank.
