Town council to hold hybrid meetings

Video conferencing equipment is being installed in Newtown Town Council's chamber to enable hybrid meetings.
The town council is also installing a hearing loop in the chamber.
The equipment will allow the council to run physical meetings in tandem with councillors and members of the public joining remotely by video as well.
