18-29 year-olds put on alert for vaccinations

With the 30-39 age group starting to receive their first vaccines, the 18-29 bracket has now been placed on alert.

Powys Teaching Health Board opened their 30-39 cohort reserve list on Tuesday night, but, already, many have been called to have their first jab tomorrow (Friday).

And this evening, the next group down is being told to sign up in order to be ready for the call to attend the vaccination centre at short notice, once that reserve list is activated.

In a surprise post tonight, PTHB stated:

If you are aged 40 or over and have not received your invitation for COVID-19 vaccination you can complete our Priority Access Form so that we can fast track you to an appointment: https://pthb.nhs.wales/.../covid.../priority-access-forms/ 

If you are aged 30-39 you can join our reserve list at all three sites: https://pthb.nhs.wales/.../covid-19.../reserve-lists/
