No suspicious circumstances

Police have said there are no suspicious circumstances over the sudden death of a man in Newtown.

Police were called to a property in Gas Street on Friday following the discovery of a man's body at around 9.15am.

Gas Street, Shortbridge Street and the Gravel Street car park were closed while emergency services attended the scene.

Police have said there are no suspicious circumstances, although they have still asked for anyone who might have information to contact them on 101.
