Serious accident closes Tregynon road

A serious accidents has closed the Newtown to Tregynon road.

Llanfair Road has been closed about a mile outside the town after a road accident at 5.30am today.

Emergency services were still at the scene at 8.30am, including paramedics.

It is understood the accident involves one vehicle that has struck a telephone pole.
