Wales goes to the polls on tomorrow (Thursday) and it has never been more important to get out there and make your vote count!
MyTown Media have run our own campaign called MyVote Matters to engage our readers with the democratic process by putting five key issues to the local candidates to gauge their views.
It has proved hugely popular with thousands of views across our social media channels, and you can find them all on our MyWelshpoolTV YouTube channel here - https://www.youtube.com/@MyWelshpoolTV
It is the first time that 16 and 17-year olds have been given the vote, and with a new election system in place, our newly expanded constituency of Gwynedd Maldwyn will be represented by six candidates.
You can read an easy guide to what’s new by clicking here.
With so much at stake, all we can encourage is that go and vote and be a part of the democratic process.
Thank-you to all of the candidates that took part in our campaign, and good luck on your future endeavours.
