A new baby class designed to support early development and parent–baby connection is launching this spring at Pant Memorial Hall.
Nurture Sense, created by local mum Jessica Wallington, will offer weekly sensory-based sessions for babies aged 1 month to 13 months attending with their parent or carer.
The calm, welcoming classes include gentle sensory play, music and movement, using high-quality, open-ended and age-appropriate resources carefully chosen to support babies’ developing senses and curiosity.
Alongside the sensory experiences for babies, the sessions are also designed to offer parents a warm and supportive space to connect with their babies and with other local parents. The early months of parenting can sometimes feel isolating, and the weekly sessions aim to provide a gentle routine and a friendly community space for families in the area.
Jessica said:
"I created Nurture Sense to offer a calm and welcoming place where parents can spend meaningful time connecting with their babies while enjoying simple sensory experiences together. The sessions are grounded in early development theory but are designed to feel relaxed, supportive and enjoyable for both babies and parents."
The first six-week block of sessions will run on Thursdays from 9.30–10.30am at Pant Memorial Hall, starting on 16 April 2026.
Spaces are limited and early booking is encouraged.
