Radio Hafren goes FM

Radio Hafren has launched itself on FM after years on Medium Wave.

The Newtown-based radio station, which began at Radio Maldwyn before being taken over and relaunched, is now broadcasting on 102.1FM as well as online.

The station carried a special programme at 10am today to mark the launch.

It says it will continue broadcasting on 757khz for the forseable future.
