It is not essential to necessarily have a background in Quality however, experience in this and/or other similar fields would be relevant. For example, experience in CI, where they have been involved in analysing data to identify root causes would be advantageous. Also, any proof that the candidate can demonstrate that they are competent to lead a team in order to find solutions and prevent problems from reoccurring.

This role will require the QHSE Shift Technician to work as part of a team across Wipak UK as this is a diverse role where you will be required to go into other departments and carry out audits, investigations and to create training documentation if gaps are identified during audits.

Required to work with the other Shift Technicians as part of the departmental team carrying out Shift handovers.

In addition to the main role, any employee is expected to be flexible with regards to other tasks that may be delegated from time to time. It is expected that any employee will conform to any reasonable management request.

The Shift Technician holidays will require covering where possible due to the nature of the roll in the business. (Preferably with the other shift technicians – this may require swapping to a completely different Shift within the pattern)
