Weather hits football again

The majority of the area's football was at a standstill today after another night of heavy frost.

Technogroup Welshpool's trip to Llanegfni was an early victim and the frost has meant the cancellation of all the day's J.T. Hughes Montgomeryshire League fixtures.

League secretary Bernie Jones said as expected all games were off and he faces the problem of rearranging an already troubled programme.
