Newtown Manager, Andy Cale has added two more signings to complete his Christmas shopping.
Cale has made a shock swoop on Marine FC to bring back defender Michael Jackson and has signed Worcester City's talented left sided midfielder Jamie Price (pictured).
The two arrivals join Bridgnorth's Robbie Millington and Tom Rowlands from Airbus at Latham Park, giving the manager selection options for the first time since the opening month of the season.
"There have been very few selection options because of the transfer window restrictions since I arrived on the eve of the season," said Cale. "And yes, there are likely to be some departures too during January so it is up to the current players to prove they can hold onto their places with competition for the first time."
"Michael Jackson is an important signature. He left for family reasons but has now been able to reorganise so that he can travel again. We have missed his experience and on-field leadership.
"The other signings are young and talented players who are keen to make names for themselves."
Price is a former Birmingham City trainee who has experience with Bloucster City and Worcester. He is a former Wales Under-17 and Under-19 international, having played alonghside Gareth Bale for his country.
