Newtown rearrange games

Newtown FC have agreed rearranged dates for their four snow hit Welsh Premier League games.

Club secertary Owen Durbridge has been working frantically to agree dates as the club's lucrative Boxing Day fixture with league champions The New Saints also looks set to be a victim of the heavy snow at Mid Wales Leisure Latham Park.

"Revenue streams are being badly affected but everyone is in the same boat," said Durbridge. "Now that the league has agreed to the extension before the clubs are split in February we have been able to negotiate new dates.

The rearranged games are:

Bala Town                     Away                Wednesday 5th January at 7.30pm
 
Airbus UK                     Home               Saturday 22nd January at 2.30pm or, if the league prohibit that as it is on the same day as the League Cup Final, then Sunday 23rd January at 2.30pm.
 
Llanelli                          Home               Tuesday 25th January at 7.30pm
 
TNS                              Home               Saturday 5th February, 2.30pm (if Boxing Day game is off)
