Search is on for young pool players

The search is on for players to join Newtown Pool League's Youth Section.

Youngsters fitting the age groups U-14 and U-18 are invited to enter the Newtown Youth League which will start in January 2011. The age groups relate to people as of  January 1, 2011.

The League will follow the same format as previous years where it will be staged at Newtown Football Club every Thursday evening all the way through to Finals Day. Entries with a phone number should be sent to the league as soon as possible.

At the halfweay stage of the season The Elite remain firm favourites to lift the Premiership but are being closely chased by The Lion. The big showdown is on New Year's Day.
