Keeper Crisis For Prestatyn tonight

15/11/2010 @ 07:46

Prestatyn have a goalkeeeing crisis ahead of tonight's fixture on the North Wales coast.
The FAW has refused Prestatyn Town's request to sign an emergency keeper on-loan ahead of the Welsh Premier fixture at home to Newtown.
First-choice stopper Jon Hill-Dunt was red-carded in Saturday's Welsh Cup win at Cambrian & Clydach and deputy Simon Williams, who is on-loan from TNS, is still rated as doubtful after picking up an injury in training.
The situation poses a major headache for manager Neil Gibson as Prestatyn's reserves have been playing outfield man Matty Owens in goal.

Newtown will have John McKenna back in the side to bolster a midfield which struggled against Bridgend last Saturday. Loanee McKenna was not allowed to play in the Welsh Cup by parent club The New Saints.
Also pushing for a place in the squad will be club captain Gavin Cadwallader who will have a late fitness test on the groin injury that has kept him out for two weeks.
