Hurds is Welsh Amateur Darts Champion

A former Newtown Premier League champion has become the Welsh Amateur Darts Champion.

Chris Hurds from Norton defeated the former title holder David Davies by 9 legs to 5 following his television debut in the Modus super series of darts.

Hurds will now go on to defend his title which guarantees him further opportunities within the Modus league throughout the year.
