“Brilliant” response to Euro showdown freebie

A massive crowd is expected for Newtown’s big Europe showdown with Haverfordwest on Saturday, with the winner-takes-all expected to be a sell-out.

Both sides agreed to make the match free to enter, and by last night (Tuesday) over 1,250 tickets had been snapped up online.

The winner of the Cymru Premier League Playoff Final will compete in the Europa Conference League this summer, and Newtown booked their spot by beating Bala last Friday night.

The match kicks off at Latham Park, Newtown, at 5.15pm on Saturday and to snap up a ticket click here.
