Montgomery avoid big guns

The Welsh Cup draw has thrown up some big ties following tonight’s draw, but Montgomery avoided the big guns and face FC Cefn at home.
 
The draw was done by Wales manager Gary Speed and skipper Aaron Ramsey and saw Guilsfield drawn at home with Llandudno while Llanidloes Town face Huws Gray Alliance champions Gap Connah’s Quay.
 
Caersws face a tricky tie at minnows Barmouth and Dyffryn.

Buckley Town v Holyhead Hotspurs
Cefn Druids v Coedpoeth Utd
Denbigh Town v Flint Town Utd
Guilsfield v Llandudno Town
Llanidloes Town v Gap Connahs Quay
Montgomery Town v FC Cefn
CPD Porthmadog v Rhyl FC
 
Ties are to be played on November 5/6 and the 18 winners will progress to Round 3, where they will be joined by the 12 Corbett Sports Welsh Premier League clubs including Newtown as well as Wrexham and Newport County from the Conference.
