Hurds takes darts title

Newtown Premier Darts League has a new champion for 2022.

Chris Hurds from Norton took the title after a fantastic season.

Hurds will now compete at the PDC Q School in January 2023 and then will compete against the very best of darting talent nationally on the challenge tour.

Chris is aiming to win a PDC Tour card to enable him to follow his dream of becoming a professional darts player.

During 2021/22
Chris has become the Newtown Darts Organisation champion.
Newtown Premier League Champion.
Ray Guthrie Memorial Champion
Runner up Merthyr Open
Runner up Day 1 Cheshire Open
Day 2 losing quarter finalist
Don and Marie Jaques Pairs Losing finalist and all this culminating in a semi- final place at the National Champion of Champions in held  in Cardiff.
