Daffs lift Central Wales Cup

Llanidloes brought the curtain down on a long season by winning the Central Wales FA Cup today.

The Daffs proved too strong for Brecon Corries after Connor Bird scored two early goals in the final staged at Presteigne.

The striker scored in the ninth and 26^th minutes to give Llanidloes a strong halftime hold on the silverware and although Corried threw everything at them in the second half the Daffs held on for the win.
