Chase for Europe hots up

10/04/2022 @ 10:55

Newtown’s 1-0 win over Caernarfon means they will finish in the top three of the JD Cymru Premier League and now go head-to-head with Bala for a European place.

The Robins currently edge Bala on goal difference for the second place that will assure them of European football this summer and the two clubs go head-to-head at Maes Tegid on Friuday night with vital ponts at stake.

Fumpa Mwandwe (pictured) scored the only goal of the game after 35 minutes, using his pace to outrun the visiting defence to slot home as through ball from Nick Rushtion.
