Andy Davies can make his summer plans after securing his Team Wales place for the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.
The NPTC lecturer and endurance runner said he was feeling good ahead of the Seville Marathon, and eased past the required mark of 2:15.30 with an incredible time of 2:14.22 which he described as a “cheeky personal best for me”.
The time was also enough to make the European Championships standard and in a good day for Wales, Josh Griffin (pictured with Andy on the right) clocked a brilliant 2:11.27 to also book his spot.
