Robins bounce back with win

Newtown bounced back after two disappointing league results to make progress in the Nathaniel MG Cup at Latham Park last night.

Manager Chris Hughes rang the changes and The Robins trounced Caernarfon, who have been on a good run in the league, 5-0.

Jamie Breese opened the scoring against his former club on 34 minutes and Fumpa Mwandwe grabbed a second in first half injury time.

Nick Rushton ended any Caernarfon hopes with a third on 56 minutes and further strikes from Arron Williams and Craig Williams saw Newtown comfortably into the next round.
