Setback for the Robins

Newtown suffered a real setback in the JD Cymru League at Latham Park tonight.

The Robins started favourites against Mid Wales rivals Aberystwyth Town but ended up losing 2-1 in front of a disappointed home crowd.

Veale gave Aberystwyth a 37^th minute lead but Callum Roberts gave Newtown fresh hope when he equalised on 51 minutes with David Cotterill setting him up.

The Robins pressed for a winner but Evans restored the lead for the Seasiders to complete another miserable night for the home side.
