Covid outbreak cancels game

Covid-19 is continuing to make its presence felt on the local sport’s scene after Forden United’s match Hay St Mary’s in the MMP Mid Wales League was postponed.

The visitors informed the village club last night that the virus was within their ranks, leaving them with a free weekend.

But there is a host of other action expected to go ahead, starting tonight with Welshpool Town at home to Kerry in the Ardal North East League.
