Newtown earned a hard fought 1-1 draw at Penybont in the JD Cymru League this afternoon.
Snaith gave Penybont a 14th minute lead but leading scorer Aaron Williams hit back for the Robins before the break and despite pressing for a winner Newtown had to settle for a share of the points.
Berriew kept the Mid Wales flag flying in the FAW Amateur Trophy with a 4-1 win at Aberffraw with Richard Davies and Drew Cook finding the target.
Caersws are also through, beating Rhostyllen 2-0 thannks to a Glyn Coney penalty and an own goal.
Llanidloes went down 3-2 to Colwyn Bay in the JD Cymru North despite goals from Boundford and Bird.
