Robins ‘Breese’ into Euro play-off final

Newtown will face Caernarfon Town for a place in next season’s Europa Conference League after a dramatic late winner from Jamie Breese saw them overcome Penybont.

The sharp-shooter had only been on the field for five minutes when he smashed home his left footed shot in the 86th minute to book the all-or-nothing showdown at his former club next weekend.

Both sides had their chances but it was Breese that proved the difference, and he almost made it two in the dying seconds but his effort was saved by Ashley Morris in the Penybont.
