Newtown picked up three more valuable JD Cymru Premier League points with a 4-1 win over Cardiff Met this afternoon.
Tyrone Ofori gave the Robins a fourth minute lead at Latham Park when he grabbed the opener only for the students to level the scores on 20 minutes.
Ofori restored the leafd on 27 minutes with a neat header to send Newtown in at half time 2-1 up.
Two second half goals from Jordan Evans eased the tension to keep Newtown oin track for a top six spot.
