Phillips makes it 6 signings

Newtown have landed their sixth new signing of the Cymru Premier League close season with Jake Phillips arriving from Airbus.

Phillips, 23, made 19 appearances for the Wingmakers as they were relegated to the Cymru North.

The defender also has experience in the Cymru Premier with Cefn Druids, Connah’s Quay Nomads and Bangor City.

Phillips is the sixth to sign for Newtown this summer, following the arrivals of defender James O’Neill, midfielders George Hughes, Jordan Evans and attackers James Davies and Jamie Breese as Robins boss Chris Hughes looks to rebuild at Latham Park.
