Canal triathlon cancelled

The popular Montgomery Canal Triathlon has been cancelled.

The event, which starts on the outskirts of Newtown, had been due to take place in May.

Competitors rowed, cycled and ran the length of the canal beyond Welshpool, but the organisers have said it will be cancelled. They hope to organise it for 8 May 2021.
