Llanidloes Town’s 13-point lead at the top of the MMP Mid Wales League remained intact following a 3-1 win over Bow Street.

The Daffs made it two wins in the space of 48 hours to end the year on a high, but both Builth Wells and Welshpool Town won to remind them that there is still a long way to go yet.

Caersws beat neighbours Carno, 3-1, while the honours were even between Berriew and Montgomery Town.

Waterloo Rovers bounced back from their Boxing Day defeat to win 3-2 at Newbridge and put their promotion bid back on track in division two.

Guilsfield burst back into the JD Cymru North top six with a convincing 3-0 win at Llanfair United.

Callum Bromley opened the scoring before Adam Jenkins doubled the advantage before half time. Adam Davies added the third in the second half.

Llanrhaeadr were held to a 1-1 draw at Gresford Athletic, with Matt Williams grabbing the equaliser.
